The essentials about omega-3

To be in good health, it is recommened to limit foods that are too high in fat, salt or sugar, as well as foods that are super-processed. However, it's still important to consume lipids (or fats), as in appropriate quantities, they are necessary for your body's proper function. Among other things, they allow for the absorption of certain vitamins (A, D and E) and they help transport energy throughout the body, as needed.

Salmon parmentier with spinach in a hazelnut crust

The salmon in this recipe is part of the so-called “fatty” fish, meaning that its flesh is rich in omega-3(1) polyunsaturated fatty acids and will be a delight to you.  It remains essential, however, to pay attention to the farming method and its location.

  • 20g butter
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut powder
  • 1 tablespoon plain hazelnut puree
  • 25cl milk
  • 100g spinach
